Program
Every three years, representatives from Rotary districts worldwide gather in Chicago to review and vote on proposed legislation. The Council on Legislation is an essential part of Rotary’s governance. Learn more about the Council on Legislation process and review proposed legislation for the 2022 Council, as well as decisions from the 2019 meetings. The 2022 Council on Legislation will be held simultaneously, in-person and virtually, on 10-14 April 2022.
We anticipate that the Council will start with a training and opening session on Sunday, 10 April, and there will be daily sessions through Thursday, 14 April. Participants will receive more information closer to the event.

Housing
Rotary arranges accommodations for all representatives who will be attending in-person at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel. Please do not book your own room.
Travel & expenses
Travel
Book your travel with Travel Services designated RITS® agencies upon receiving your invitation and Trip ID. Complete your travel booking by 7 March. All tickets must be issued by 11 March.

Expenses
Rotary reimburses all reasonable and necessary expenses related to the Council on Legislation for representatives who complete the online representative training and attend training at the Rotary Institute. Otherwise, you will be responsible for your expenses, unless you've been excused from training by the Council chair. Find information about reimbursable expenses in the registration book.
