The Rotary Foundation created the Brazil Flood Response Fund in response to devastating flooding in the country's southern region, affecting more than 1.45 million people.

The fund will support disaster response grants for member-led projects that provide relief supplies to people in the state of Rio Grande do Sul who have been displaced from their homes, or lack power and access to clean water. Here's how you can help:

• Donate to the Brazil Flood Response Fund.
• Fundraise among your colleagues, friends, and family through Raise for Rotary.
• Learn about local Rotary disaster response efforts.

You can donate to the Brazil Flood Response Fund through 31 August. If the needs diminish, or if more funds are raised than are requested through disaster response grants, your donations may eventually be used to respond to disasters elsewhere in the world.
